Chicago Lakeshore Hospital

SRA provided master-planning and design services to convert an existing five-story, 37,100 square foot building into an inpatient behavioral health hospital for children and adolescents. A new 3,300 square foot addition was designed to accommodate a new stair tower, service elevator, receiving area and EVS rooms. The new facility provides 60 inpatient beds, classrooms, isolation rooms, administrative offices, commercial kitchen, dining areas and covered canopy for patient transport vehicles.
