Humboldt Park Branch Library

The 13,000 square foot existing Library was renovated with new ADA toilet rooms and entirely new finishes. A 4,500 square foot addition was constructed in order to increase the presence of the library along North Avenue. The new addition features expanded reading space and new media lab room for teenagers. The exterior masonry walls of the new addition respect the existing library's façade, and larger size windows were designed to allow for more daylight into the library. The new addition includes rain-water harvesting.
